I discovered him through his hip-hop stuff—Project Blowed, etc. Of this, I will forever long to hear more, and repeatedly return to his Bandcamp platform in the hope that he will one day drop newer projects of that ilk. But Drez's groove has kept me hooked as he's headlong traversed soul, funk, jazz, dub, and the world music oeuvres. I mean, the man has musicality dripping all over his turntables. Thank god he packages it up to turn out for us here.
